Welcome to SignUp Events for the iPad

This is the screen you will present to your potential clients. Set the iPad up on a table at your trade show or office and have them sign themselves up. All of these fields are configurable, so if you don't need a phone number and would rather have a city, its easy to change. We'll get into configuration a little later.

A user enters his or her details

We're going to store all this information on the iPad itself. No Internet connection is needed. Plus we provide an easy way to download this information for future reference.

Once the user hits submit, we thank them for entering in their details. We use the first field here for a name.

Now onto the configuration!

There is a small "i" icon on the bottom left of the screen. We highlighted in the above image with a white blur. Select it to get into the configuration page.

Choose some new images

Selecting one of the placeholder images on the left-side of the configuration screen will allow you to add or remove images. To add, simply select the image or placeholder and pick an image from your gallery. We purposely did not allow you to use the camera of the iPad2 since the camera on the device isn't quite up to snuff yet. If you need to remove an image, simply press on it for 2 seconds. It will remove automatically.

Need to make a change to an entry? No problem

Select an entry from your list and you can view more detail, delete it and even edit it. To delete the entry, select the "X." To edit the entry, simply start editing the appropriate field and when you're finished, select the check marked button. All done? No problem, select the back arrow button.

Some advanced configuration

If you feel the need to change the labels on the front sign up sheet. This is how you do it. Simply select the necessary text box and start typing. Don't worry, we save all the defaults in case you make a mistake. See the next step.

Made a mistake? No problem, just hit the defaults button

Hitting the defaults button at the bottom of the configuration will reset all the labels and images back to their original installed state.

Need a backup?

It's important to download your data often incase something happens to your iPad. Since everything is stored locally, we've provided the ability to download using a CSV file. Select the "download" button from the configuration screen and we'll send you an email with the data attached in an Excel (or Numbers) compatible format.
